    Great Vacuum

0 5/5 Ike4president1970 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Dirt Devil Jaguar Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum, UD70230 (Misc.) States that it's ideal for pets, but I was sceptical. I don't have pets, but my two daughters and wife have long hair, so it would always jam up our other vacuum. Somehow, this one does not get hair wrapped around the brush! I all ends up in the canister! I'm very pleased and now I don't burn out the vacuum belts anymore! Good, so far (updated: terrible after all)

I am going to rate the Jaguar 4 stars (I like it) mainly because of one great feature: price. Everything else is either just Okay or a little below par.GOODBut let me start with the good features. Besides the good price, the Pet Jaguar comes with an easy to clean HEPA filter, a couple of tools/accessories, a small but very easy to empty, see-through dirt cup, a reasonably long cord and a dial for adjusting its height above the floor so it will operate well on either carpets or bare floors. It does a pretty good job at removing dust and it's relatively easy to drive. The attachments include a crevice tool that works well, a pet hair removal tool and another brush that you could use to clean up sofas and upholsteries.BADSo far so good but not everything is perfect. This vacuum cleaner comes with a terrible manual. It's trilingual English/Spanish/French with each topic or installation step or operation activity... 1/5 A. Dent "Aragorn" (Minas Anor, GD) - See all my reviews, December 1, 2012

    Works Great

I have a siberian husky who sheds a ridiculous amount of hair. Despite using a on him twice daily, I am constantly vacuuming my house to remove hair that he has shed. The problem with most traditional vacuums, is that the hair very quickly clogs the filters, most of which are not well-designed to handle animal hair and dander. After trying several pet vacs, I've noticed the filters are specifically designed to clump animal hair and make removal easy. The Dirt Devil Jaguar is no exception. The instructions are pretty useless except for explaning how to empty it and clean the filter. It comes with a few parts and attachments that take about 5 minutes to put together. Although the vacuum initially looked a bit cheap out fo the box, I was surprised when I turned it on and realized how powerful it is. The motor is... 4/5 Scott - See all my reviews, January 24, 2013

    Great Product!

I purchased this product to help with the daily cleanup of pet hair on my tile floors. I researched several similar vacuums, but this one seemed to have all that I needed. The price was right, online reviews were good, and it meet all my criteria - cordless, upright and rechargeable. The product was easy to assemble. Handle is easy to attach and remove, filter is easy to empty and clean, and the vacuum attaches to the charger easily. The instructions said to charge for 14-16 hours before first use. It had charged about 20 hours before I first used it. It worked for about 5 minutes and then quit. I decided to let it charge longer. I kept it on the charger for 48 hours (just to be sure it was fully charged). I started it up again and WOW! It worked like a charm. The vacuum quickly cleaned up dirt & crumbs along with all the dust bunnies of hair from my multiple pets. It was easy to maneuver around the floor, chairs, and sofa. My tile area is rather large and I was... 5/5 Andrew Minarcik (Atlanta, GA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Eureka Quick-up Cordless 2-in-1 Stick Vacuum, 96H (Kitchen) I purchased this product to help with the daily cleanup of pet hair on my tile floors. Here's the nitty gritty!

I have a love/hate relationship with this vacuum cleaner. There are great things about it, and horrible things about it. I will break them both down for you but first I will tell you a little about my home. It is about 2300Sq ft. It has 3 most common floor times. Hardwood, tile, and plush carpet. I bought this vacuum for my new home because it was appealing on many levels. It was small, lightweight and cordless. The Pros: This vacuum is small, lightweight, and cordless. It is easy to assemble and virtually goes anywhere! It's a lot quieter than a traditional vacuum cleaner. Heck it's so small and compact even my toddler enjoys using it (Woohoo!). It is also pretty easy to empty! The Cons: The battery life only allows me to vacuum about 2-3 rooms at a time on a full charge, and about 1 room on a partial charge. The suction isn't the greatest, and you can FORGET picking up anything that isn't dust or hair. It has trouble vacuuming up anything dime sized or bigger... 3/5 Jennifer - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) It is just what I wanted...

0 5/5 Wayne, New Jersey resident - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Eureka Quick-up Cordless 2-in-1 Stick Vacuum, 96H (Kitchen) I searched all local stores and the internet for a cordless, lightweight floor sweeper. I only found this product to have what I wanted for a reasonable cost. When I received the product I was happy when I noticed it could also be used on carpet. It works very well for the in-between carpet vacuuming and works great on bare floors. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 11, 2011

Works well, but the Lithium-Ion version of this Dustbuster is better

I borrowed this Dustbuster in order to compare it to the that I recently purchased, which is the exact same except for the type of battery it uses. This Dustbuster uses a Nickel-cadmium (NiCad) battery, compared to a Lithium Ion (LIB) battery in the other version. I put them through the same testing and evaluated them on how well the products work as a handheld vacuum, and then how the two compared to each other. As vacuums, they both performed surprisingly well compared to handheld vacs from 5+ years ago, which I have always hated due to poor battery life and weak suction power. The main problem with older vacs, is that they suffer from "memory effect," which causes products that use NiCad batteries to lose power and charge over time. This is very prevalent with Dustbusters,... 4/5 Scott - See all my reviews, April 20, 2012

    Dust Buster 14.4

I've had 2 Dust Busters for over 20 years. One in my kitchen and one in the bar down stairs. 20 years old and they worked fine. I got used to them running down for 20 seconds and then moving up to speed. Always liked the product. Then about a week ago I visited my daughter and she had a new one. The Dust Buster 14.4 with Cyclonic Action. Wow...it seriously sucked! Could not wait to order one from my friend Amazon. (I love this site) (and no, I don't work for them)! Ordered one and WOW, what a great product. I followed the instructions and charged it up for 24 hours then I used it until the battery died then charged it up again. I love this thing! Its extremely powerful, the long crevice tool has a brush on the end AND it extends about a foot longer if you want. First of all I went and cleaned the ceiling fan in our bedroom. Worked awesome without dragging out the big Vac. Great product and empty's easily. I'm buying another one for my boat where we are always leaving crumbs from toast... 5/5 Ramon V.
